With the assistance of so many great contractors and partners, Nokomis Partners finished construction on one of the most beautiful community solar gardens in the state of Minnesota. Nestled near a beautiful pond on 6 acres of land in Starbuck, MN, our Malmedal Garden truly symbolizes our desire to build distributed energy that fits the community it serves. Take a tour of the beautiful property while noting the garden that will produce enough energy to power 188 homes every year.
This project was part of Xcel Energy’s Solar*Rewards program and will provide the community members or Pope, Stearns and Kandiyohi counties with nearly 1.2 MWs of electricity annually.
