Jennifer has spent her career as a financial leader connected to a mission and committed to building relationships and teams that support the organization. Her tenure and experience at Organic Valley includes financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, strategic insight and promoting data driven decision-making through financial storytelling. Her focus here at Nokomis Energy is developing and executing key accounting processes and the finance infrastructure to drive efficiency and enable growth in the fast-growing clean energy transformation.

How did you get your start in clean energy?
I was fortunate to spend fifteen years with an organization whose foundation and mission was built on sustainability. Through my tenure there, I had the opportunity to participate in the ideation, development, and financial management of Wisconsin’s first community wind farm.

What is the coolest part of your job?
The people and the mission. It’s so rare to find a fit that aligns not only with your personal values, but also with people who you genuinely want to spend time with every day.
